There exist several opportunities to
research the way in which certain actions will impact upon
the lives of disabled people whether it be in the home, in
education, when buying goods and services, in employment or
when negotiating the purchase of property. As disabled
professionals, we use our own experiences as well as those
which we have gained from consultation with other disabled
people in order to assess and research their impact on
disabled people. As well as performing said research, we can
offer a full impact assessment process to meet the
disability equality duty of public authorities under the
Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
