Disability now is a magazine published
by Scope featuring lifestyle, current affairs and features
related to issues arising in the disabled community.

Equality and
Human Rights Commission:
Established by the Equality Act in
2006 the EHRC has responsibility for the promotion and
enforcement of equality and non-discrimination laws in
England, Scotland and Wales [Northern Irish visitors are
direction to the
ECNI
(Equality Commission) and the
NIHRC
(Human Rights Commission)].

Our director Danny Puresh's blog on
thoughts and ideas around access for disabled people that he
encounters on a day to day basis.
4) The Jobs
Assistant:
The Jobs Assistant is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise,
set up by our director Mr Danny Puresh, providing employment
and training opportunities for disabled people. This
employment project for disabled people will be based in
Cheam but aims to serve people in the London Boroughs of
Sutton, Merton, Croydon and Kingston Upon Thames.

Accessify Forum:
This forum discusses issues of web
access for a wide variety of disabilities including tips for
building accessible websites, legal requirements and
critiques of the accessibility of many websites.
Accessibility services can also advertise freely in certain
sections of the forum and there are off topic forums for
general discussions.

Microsoft
Accessibility:
This is the homepage for the accessibility section of the
Microsoft website which lists and explains the access
features available across Microsoft's various products. It
also contains tutorials on using these features and
Microsoft's commitment and strategies to improving access.
7) Ouch!:
Disability focused section of the BBC website including
opinions, interviews and features. It also hosts the Ouch!
Talk Show which is distributed as a podcast from this
website.
Products:

BBNav:
The first car satellite navigation system to be designed
with accessibility at the core of it's focus. Including all
common features found on a standard satellite navigation
system it also includes the following location information:
on street disabled parking bays, disabled accessible car
parks, blue badge parking concessions and access points of
interest.
Software:

Camera Mouse:
This free piece of software developed by Boston University
allows users to move a mouse cursor using their head alone.
