We provide diversity and equality
training that will help you explore the barriers faced by
all sections of society but looking particularly at the
issues of oppressed groups such as gender, race, disability,
sexual orientation, age, religion and culture.
We look at these in a safe,
learner-centred environment looking at both the barrier
issues and the legal context of diversity and equality. We
use a variety of training methods ranging from presentation,
small group work, discussion, video, case studies and so on.
The legal
context we look at focuses on the Sex Discrimination Act
1975, Race Relations Act 1976, Disability Discrimination
Acts 1995 and 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998.
Please also consider our Equality Act
(2010) training course as this legislation will come into
force in October of this year combining and consolidating
previous equality legislation stated above.
